Remote Notifications are Here

You were asking about it and we added it. Now we will send you notification which will either popup a message on your phone or (if you have updated to iOS5) you can configure notification center to present little banner on the top of your screen when score is changed in a game your team is playing. Check out screenshot on this page to see example.

Same notifications are coming to Football application in a couple days (app is already sent for review). Stay tuned.

New Provider

We moved to a different hosting provider. We were experiencing availability issues with old one (iPage.com) quite often. It was very frustrated to us and we’re sure to you too. We received our share of complaints from our customers.

New provider (http://www.inmotionhosting.com/) looks much better so far. Speed has been visibly faster, hopefully it will be visible for you, our customers too.

NHL TV Schedule is out

Hit refresh button inside My Hockey Team 2011 to see complete TV schedule for all 30 NHL teams on your iPhone.

My Hockey Team 2011

New version of our most popular app is available in AppStore. Getting ready for the next 2011 NHL season. Check out new landscape mode that would reveal even more individual stats and standing data.

My Baseball Team 2011

Update for 2011 is in the AppStore. We decided not to publish a separate application, and did just an update to existing up. Season will start soon - update your Baseball Team 2011 application!

My Hockey Team HD is Out

Two weeks waiting as usual. But finally iPad version of My Hockey team is available in AppStore! Couple promo codes for US store is coming to our twitter. It’s very exciting. iPad lets you see much more on the same screen. You have kind of snapshot of everything related to your team: schedule, standings, scoring etc. All in one screen. And as always one app for ALL NHL teams.
Check out detail page for more information, screenshots etc.

Do They Test Stuff?

Looks like Apple doesn't test apps in anything but iOS4 devices... Otherwise apps that crashes on 3.1.3 won't be accepted. It’s actually very sad. First version of My Hockey Team had listed 3.1.3 devices as a base device - means it can be installed there. There was a clearly a bug in the code (some leftovers of our attempts to make local and remote alarms in application - this feature was introduced with iOS 4). Approval process usually takes about couple weeks - and Apple do test apps, but looks like they test them only on newest devices and don’t care about back compatibility. Developers must go very complicated testing process to make sure app will run fine both on newest and previously released OS.

NBA Schedule is Coming

My Basketball Team app is coming for NBA fans! Waiting week or so for approval.

First iPad App

My Hockey Team 2010 HD - iPad version of popular iPhone NHL Scheduler is sent for approval. iPad version includes more statistical data, all three standings, today and upcoming games ticker - everything you wanted to see about your favorite NHL team on one huge iPad screen. Works both in portrait and landscape mode (unlike official NHL Playoff application last year :))

My Hockey Team 2010 is Approved

My Hockey Team is approved and available in AppStore.

Re-branding

Let’s rename "NHL Schedule 2010" to "My Hockey Team 2010" This also will allow us to do very similar thing for NBA application that is coming really soon. Also would like to welcome everybody to our new site http://myteamoniphone.com.

Got Rejected

NHL Schedule 2010 got rejected. Apparently one cannot use word NHL in the title, or team names for that matter in keywords. Which would make our life and life of our customers much harder, cause they will not be able to find this app so easily as they did in last year. What also interesting is the fact that already approved application for last year schedule remains in AppStore just fine.

NHL Schedule 2010 is Sent for Approval

New Hockey season is going to start in couple month. Last year "NHL Schedule" was I think a big success. New season NHL Schedule 2010 is sent for approval to Apple. Keep our fingers crossed.
